![]() ![]() To top all of this off, this printer comes with Auto Duplexing as a standard, is pictbridge compatable and has 2 optional paper paths. The print quality was phenominal, the ink appears to be water resistant/proof, and it was relatively fast. I pulled it out, wiped it and tried to smear the ink, as has happened so many times to me if I even look at my photo before I give it time to dry, and to my surprise, it did not smear. It turned out awesome! Immediately I had to test this print so I took it into the kitchen filled up a jug of water and dipped the print in the water 2 or 3 times, completely submersing the photo. So I flipped the paper over and put it in the tray one more time and printed a picture. ![]() The printer box had been smarter than I had been. I pulled out the paper, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. Being the kind of person who prides himself on his capabilites with his computer products, I decieded to give it one more try. well after a nasty phone call to Staples, where I purchased it, I hung up the phone with the intent of returning this printer. There is no apparent way to adjust ink volume so that I can dictate how much ink is used.then when printing on photo paper I found that not only was it using too much ink, but the ink wasn't being accepted by Canon's own paper and it was beading off. and I have to say that at first I was very bitter about this product.
